Walking to see my friend for a drink last Friday I was paying a little extra attention to the pigeons, and even though I’ve seen it a hundred times, I was amazed at their courtship ritual. I didn’t have my camera then but mallard duck do it too! :)

Halifax, Nova Scotia – Order the Gravlax

After a close to 18 trip and 4 airports I have 24 hours to unpack, shower, do laundry, pack, sleep and hop into a plane again. This time to Halifax. Really nice place with good food and hokey lovers…

Dish of the day – Gravlax sandwich – raw salmon dressed with vinaigrette.

Saudade – Rio Scenarium

Not what I was expecting. A really nice bar with really nice music – discovering new things – new concept “saideira” = the last beer of the night – not really we had about 5 saideiras.

Not Fair!

Wake up early, free breakfast; leave the hotel… finally the beach. What can go wrong? I have to get in the bus that will take me to my meeting. So the Rio experience doesn’t seem promising at all. Leaving at 7 am and coming back around 6 pm.

In 2006 I was in a nice hotel in Cairns, Australia. It had an ocean view, but I had nobody to share the view with. So now I’m going to share my view with you. No big discovery here, just for you to know that I’m still alive and that I’m enjoying life.
